We've selected a number of projects that highlight our services.

Cleva Pods
CLEVA POD is a cleaver Kiwi product we helped design and manufacture that replaces polystyrene in constructing concrete foundations. The CLEVA POD team recently poured a concrete foundation to demonstrate their new product and ripped it up to show that CLEVA PODs could be separated from the concrete, allowing the concrete to be recycled. If traditional polystyrene blocks were used in the foundation instead of CLEVA PODs, the concrete would go to landfill as non-recyclable waste. Creating an extra large injection mould for recycled plastic had its challenges, but it’s where our experienced team added value with strategic design and manufacturing decisions and advice.
Vintage Car Suspension
Few cars are cooler than this souped up 1976 Holden Torana LX SS. Our new and specialised 3d scanning equipment made light work of digitising the suspension system. We scanned it in its free and compressed states. With the scan data we created a detailed report dimensioning the suspension points for LVVTA certification.
Cornwall Park’s Custom Seating
Cornwall Park's Campbell Crescent upgrade is a beautiful setting for a recent project of ours. The elegant park benches had design input from many sources. To assist the project manager with the design development process we created an initial silhouette for the bench ends, scaled them down and 3D printed them. Clay was added to the 3D printed parts which we styled into our interpretation of the customer's requirements. Our client was able to take these parts into a meeting with key decision makers who could discuss, sculpt and approve the design. We then 3D scanned the clay, scaled it up, resurfaced the scanned data to achieve a high quality finish and ran FEA to test extreme load conditions. The parts were then cast and now sit on Campbell Cresent for you to enjoy.
Tiger Wood Chipper
When the Stevens Group approached us about designing a new wood chipper for their Tiger brand, we excitedly set about benchmarking similar products on the market. We discovered opportunities to optimise the Tiger wood chipper product design, created a prototype, refine the design and supported the manufacturing process. It was rewarding to help the Stevens Group achieve their product development goals and see the final product on display at Fieldays this year.
Cylinder Head
We 3D scanned this cylinder head with our MetraSCAN 3D, a world class 3D scanner which captured the most challenging ports and internal intricacies of the part. We were able to scan the part with an exceptionally high degree of accuracy which provides a solid foundation for our client’s reverse engineering and new product design work.
